Do you know what is the speciality of the beaches in India? It is the complete, beautiful view you get from there. If we look into the beaches of Bay of Bengal, then you will find the sun rise is very scenic where as the sun set is beautiful in case of the beaches of the Arabian Sea. I am talking about one of the visit of mine to the beautiful Malpe beach. Unfortunately I missed the sun set but it didn't bothered me a lot because the type of experience I wanted to have from there, I got them. I wanted to cover the some snaps of the people from the Malpe beach.
Karnataka has around 320 KMs of coastline and a lot of beaches. Kaup, Malpe, Panambur etc. are very popular among them.
Malpe beach is located around 6 K.M away from the Udupi town. You can avail the public transport (like bus) from Udupi or you can hire an auto rickshaw. Also from Udupi railway station you can get transportation facility to reach the Malpe beach.
Malpe is famous for the fishery industry and it is the main livelihood of the people. The St. Mary's islands are very famous tourist destination there. Water sports has been introduced there and this place has a good foot-fall.
